Join us for a welcoming, connection‑focused series exploring sound, storytelling, and words. These creative gatherings are hosted by a youth-led music collective, WWIM, inspired by their experiences getting to make music and collaborate with older members of the queer community, and how beneficial this opportunity has been! Through this series, we intend to offer a safe and supportive space to socialise, connect, and create alongside others across generations. We can’t wait to see what new collaborations and projects emerge! All art forms are welcome, from experimental music to folk songs, visual arts, poetry, spoken word, dance, and everything in between.
Each session will have some curated performances as well as an ‘Open Mic’ section. If you are interested in performing in any capacity, please complete this EOI form. We would be very happy to connect you with suitable artists to fulfil your creative vision, and/ or help you workshop your idea. So, whether you have an established act or the very beginnings of a concept, we’d love to hear from you.
Whether you come to listen, create, or simply enjoy good company, all are warmly welcome. However, bigotry will not be tolerated, and maintaining the safety of the space is our priority. This is a free event, but donations at the door are welcome, and any received will be split between the performers.

♿ The Sullivan Hall is a wheelchair accessible venue, accessible via the footpath on inclined but smooth terrain.
🚗 There are about 10 parking bays very close to the venue, and ample street parking in the area within a few minutes walk.
🚌Sullivan Hall is on the 502 Bus route.
🪑 There will be plenty of seating inside, on plastic chairs and cushions/ rugs on the ground.
🪟 The venue is spacious and windows and doors can be kept open throughout the workshop for ventilation. It will be well-lit with natural light.
🔊 The music/ performances may be loud at times.
🚽 There are two accessible all-gender bathrooms located outside the venue, connected via a footpath.
🥘 Snacks/ food will be available to share, pot luck style, with allergens clearly labeled; please feel welcome to bring along a plate! We will also have tea and coffee available. This event is alcohol free.
🌳 There is no dedicated indoor check-out space, but you can go outside into the garden, or even across the road into the park. There will also be a craft table!
⚠️ All are welcome at this event, however bigotry will not be tolerated, and anyone behaving in an unsafe or intimidating manner will be asked to leave.
